Description of Event: The hills are alive with the sound of music…and so are the Parks Blocks! Join us for an all ages, family friendly, rooftop singalong screening of The Sound of Music. This timeless classic with a beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein score is based on the amazing true story of The Trapp Family Singers. The Sound of Music is a cinematic landmark and winner of five Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

This event is open to all ages. The singalong is free to attend but RSVP is required. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to wear their pajamas to the screening and bring a comfy blanket, pillow, camp chair, or beanbag chair! Snacks, candy, and drinks will be provided.

The film is 174 minutes long. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the screening will begin at 7pm.
