October begins our three-month collaboration with PSU’s Jazz Vocal department, bringing the best and brightest future jazz performers to EJC. Come out and support the next generation of Jazz at EJC!

The concerts will feature small ensembles and soloists that are semi-acoustic and always enlivening. The EJC welcomes seniors, parents and kids, students, and all others. What better thing is there to do on a Friday afternoon?!

Della Simone is a jazz, pop, and classically trained vocalist hailing from Portland, Oregon. Della has competed in international choral competitions in Greece, Portugal, and Italy, and was recently awarded outstanding musician and soloist at the DeMiero Jazz Festival at Edmonds College in March 2024. Della has performed everywhere from St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice and the Hollywood Bowl, to local venues like The Old Church Concert Hall.

Addison Kuth began his career as a pianist in San Francisco, working as a sideman and band leader. He holds a degree in Classical Piano Performance from Cornish College in Seattle. He was a gold medalist at the Seattle Bach Festival and a silver medal at the Seattle Russian Music Competition. Since moving to Portland, Addison has begun pursuing a career as a jazz pianist and bassist and was awarded outstanding musician and soloist at the DeMiero Jazz Festival at Edmonds College in March 2024.
