A First Night Community Passover Seder for all ages at Gesher: Feast, Journey, Connect deeply, Delight at a Seder that is Covid -safe, Open-Air with Patio Heaters, at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, April 22nd.

Rabbi Laurie Rutenberg and Rabbi Gary Schoenberg of Gesher invite you to join them for a delicious Passover Seder —  a Journey from Slavery to Freedom.  All of us feel like strangers in a strange land from time to time, and especially so this year, with the Hamas attack on Israel, with Palestinian suffering, with antisemitism rampant, with Ukranians suffering, with increasing challenges for our youth.... . At this Passover seder, we create a community of strangers to reflect. connect and care deeply, and also to be nourished and joyful while we tell our people's story that is also our story.

Gesher's Rabbis love to cook and will prepare Gesher's Seder in their home kitchen. Gesher asks for your contribution of $36 - $60, sliding scale. Nobody is turned away for inability to contribute.  If you are interested in cooking with Rabbi Gary or Rabbi Laurie on April 14th or 21st, please join one of our Gesher Cooking Fests.

Info and RSVP for the Cooking Fests and for the Seder at www.ourjewishhome.org.  Space is Very Limited. RSVP is NECESSARY. RSVP at www.ourjewishhome.org.  Dress WARMLY.  We will be celebrating outside with patio heaters.

Gesher is located at 10701 SW 25th Ave. in Portland.
