Understanding Sustainability

Sustainability—local, practical, inspiring examples of how we can help the environment at home and work. Guest speakers from Portland State University School of Business, New Seasons Market, and Brightworks will discuss how their work addresses climate degradation and what they have learned about the best methods for individuals to minimize environmental harm.

About this series

Is there a conflict between scientific understanding and spiritual belief? This new series asks what the fields of medicine, genetics, physics, aeronautics, and brain science can and do offer to the fields of religious ideology, practice, and spiritual care—and vice versa. Monthly guest speakers will help us probe the deepest questions that help us understand what it means to be human.

No RSVP necessary.
