More about this webinar:
While we know that our teens’ phones connect them to one another and their parents, we are facing a time when there are plenty of good reasons to limit their use of social media or even take their phones away. For Jewish teens specifically, navigating growing antisemitism and anti-Israel messaging online is not solely a mental health challenge – it is also potentially damaging to their relationships and spiritual connections. On the flip side, sometimes they see positive Jewish content that can help them experience solidarity and belonging. How can we help adolescents as they go through a process of differentiation and identity formation? What role can parents and educators play in helping them to make sense of the messages they are receiving and helping students to navigate digital life? Join Rabbi Daniel Brenner and Pamela Barkley, MSW from Moving Traditions as they provide parents with tools to navigate these conversations with their teens.
