It is with deep sadness that Congregation Shaarie Torah announces the passing of Lynda Baker, z”l, beloved cousin of Craig and Keith Berne. Lynda passed away on Apr. 19, 2026, at the age of 82.

She is survived by her son Randy Baker, her cousins Keith (Rosie) Berne, Craig (Jan) Berne, Rick (Audrey) Berne, Steve (Peggy) Berne, Scott Fenton, Cliff (Sherry) Fenton, and their families. She was predeceased by her mother Ronnie Wood, z”l, her brother Michael Laufer, z”l and her aunt and uncle Lee and Frank Berne, z”l.

A funeral was held Tuesday, Apr. 21 at Congregation Beth Israel Cemetery. Donations in Lynda’s memory can be made to Congregation Beth Israel
