Love doesn't die, people do. Staff and committee members of Neveh Shalom are hosting this thoughtful program to facilitate planning for the end of life.

Appropriate for adults of all ages, panel members will address how Judaism offers many ways to thoughtfully blend new ideas, ancient rituals, and intentional approaches to end-of-life planning. The goal? To create a more meaningful life and to foster inspired advanced planning for the end of life. A precious gift, for ourselves and our loved ones.

In this intimate and information-focused Zoom session, you will hear from community members involved in the rituals and the careful logistics that honor Jewish traditions that make the end of life, even grieving, meaningful and healing.

There is a follow-up class the following week:

A Celebration of Spirit and Soul Ethical Will Workshop
Wednesday, February 17 at 2:00-3:30pm
Giving voice in a form as individual as a fingerprint, an Ethical Will in Jewish tradition, is a written document of values, thoughts, stories, or memories. The intention is to create an individual’s personalized legacy for family, friends, and possibly those we may never meet. At this program, samples, including the Ethical Will of Neveh Shalom Rabbi Joshua Stampfer, z”l will be shared. $5 includes a comprehensive “how to” packet on Ethical Wills. Hosted by end-of-life doula Laurie Fendel of Congregation Neveh Shalom. Click here to register.
