Purim is a joyous holiday that celebrates the saving of the Jews from a threatened massacre in ancient Persia. All are welcome to RSVP for our 5785/2025 Purim Celebration at Havurah Shalom.
**Purim revelers, please RSVP!**
You can RSVP/register by going to our Thursday, March 13 Purim Celebration page on the Havurah Shalom online calendar. Or you can register by going directly to this webpage: https://www.havurahshalom.org/event/hyb-purim-celebration1.html
When you RSVP/register, please mention if you'll likely join *in person* (in-person celebration begin at 6 pm, with noshing and crafts) or *online* (the Zoom feed begins at 7:10 pm, with the Purim spiel).
We'll gather at 6 pm for some nosh (pizza, and healthy and not-so-healthy bites to eat!), craft projects, and beverages of all kinds. Then, we'll have the reading of the Megillah and the Purim shpiel—with live instrumental music and singing. Come prepared to have fun, join in the crafts, and enjoy some delicious hamantaschen.
You're welcome and encouraged to come dressed up for Purim, or you can throw on some costume items (feather boas, masks, wigs) that we'll have out for everyone!
