Join us for a staged reading of Bobby Wittenberg's "The Crime of Danny Segal"
The two-act comedy is the story of a young man on trial for ruining his life. The prosecution? His mother. The jury? Three Jewish mothers eager to convict. As Danny tells his story, we see it unfold in the Segal home and Danny's apartment with our chorus of mothers chiming in on the action.
The play debuted in Los Angeles with a reading at FirstStage in Hollywood, followed by a reading at Actors Alley and productions in Pasadena and at the American Theatre of Actors in New York City. This is the first time it will be performed in Portland.
The staged reading will be followed by light refreshments. Tickets $15/Person, all ages
