PJA is a community Jewish Day School and Early Childhood program that welcomes families of all backgrounds. Students from 6 weeks through 8th grade thrive in an academically rich environment that honors the whole child. At PJA you will find small classes, dedicated teachers, support services, enrichment opportunities, and a warm and welcoming community. Accredited by Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS) and a member of Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools.
A student-centered approach to learning in K-8 encourages students to think critically and creatively. Smaller classes allow for personalized attention and differentiated learning and the supportive faculty encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and advocate for themselves.
PJA's rich and diverse program incorporates Jewish Studies, Hebrew language, technology, arts, community service, health and wellness into the curriculum. A focus on collaborative and integrated learning as well as social-emotional skills creates a safe and nurturing environment where students can explore many areas of interest and make connections between their studies and the real world.
PJA is an inclusive school that strives to honor all families. PJA values the diversity in our community and continuously works to provide an education for all of students that is equitable, accessible, and just. At PJA, we think for ourselves and work for the world.
PJA shares a campus with the MJCC. Our campus is unusually well equipped indoors and out for recreation and physical activities and includes three developmentally appropriate playgrounds, athletic fields, a gymnasium, fitness and cardio center and pool.
