COL. MIRI EISIN explains the dynamics of the news coverage in Israel and provides an inside account of working with the international media outlets, editors and correspondents.
Miri Eisin served in the Israeli intelligence community and retired from active duty at the rank of full colonel in 2004. Over her 20-year career in the military, she served as the deputy head of the combat intelligence corps and as the personal assistant to the director of military intelligence. After retiring from the military, Miri served as the Israeli Prime Minister's international media advisor from the Second Lebanon War until the end of 2007. She is a senior fellow at the Center for International Communication at Bar Ilan University and works extensively with the media, student groups and diplomats.
