Meant To Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles, and Triumph of the Human Spirit with Roslyn Franken

Join CST and Rabbi Oren as author Roslyn Franken presents the inspiring true story of her award-winning book, Meant to Be, about her parents’ amazing triumph over tragedy as two unlikely survivors of WWII. Her mother survived the concentration camps in Nazi Europe including Auschwitz, while her father survived the atomic bomb as a prisoner of war in Japan. Roslyn will reveal how her parents, as two Jewish teens, survived the hardships of their captivity continents apart in the most extraordinary of circumstances to eventually meet, marry and live a beautiful life despite the trauma of their past, against all odds. She will inspire us with the lessons learned as the daughter of these two remarkable survivors that we can all learn from to be our best selves, live our best lives and help make our world a better place.
