On Shabbat morning, August 13, P’nai Or will welcome Mike Rothbaum as our visiting rabbi.

 

Rabbi Mike has received accolades for both spiritual and educational programming, and has done extensive work with faith-based social justice organizations, including T'ruah, AJWS, Network, and the Interfaith Criminal Justice Coalition.  He has been extensively involved with faith-based social justice organizations, and is now Bay Area Co-Chair for Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice. He has spoken and taught widely at conferences and rallies, from Moishe House to the House of Representatives. His writing and speaking has been featured in Tikkun, the Huffington Post, KQED radio, CNN, and Zeek.
