Gathering for the Passover holiday is one of the most important moments in the Jewish calendar. The Oregon Board of Rabbis affirms the State of Oregon and the Center for Disease Control guidelines of limiting gatherings to immediate family that lives in the same household.

Monthly Mitzvah: Shabbat Candles

In April the Mitzvah of the month is lighting Shabbat candles. Light up your home and light up the world. Women and girls (age 3 and up) are encouraged to light candles every Friday afternoon, 18 minutes before sunset, in honor of the Shabbat.
